Brianna Davis

Head Trainer

Bri has been a professional in the horse world for the past thirteen years. She comes to us from the east coast, where she ran a successful "A" circuit show barn for the last three and a half years. There she qualified many of her students and their horses for the prestigious year end Pennsylvania National and Washington International shows. Other career highlights included winning Horse of the Year in the 2nd year green division in 2005 and 2006, as well as Horse of the Year in the regular working hunters. This was all done in one of the most competitive regions in the country, Zone 1.

Fortunately for us, Bri has returned to her roots in Colorado where she began her horse career at the age of seventeen. She spent seven of those years employed at Columbine Equine Center, one of Denver's top show facilities. There she developed her skills and gained much of the experience needed to be a top professional. Her subsequent move to Connecticut and Cedar Brook Farm allowed her to run a top notch facility and further hone her abilities as coach and rider.
We are both proud and honored to have Brianna Davis as the head trainer at Savoy Stables.

Emily Stokes

Trainer

Emily grew up riding in Illinois and competed in the hunter and equitation rings as a junior, competing in the regional finals of several medal classes. After obtaining her BS degree in Psychology and Recreation Management at Indiana Wesleyan, Emily moved to Colorado. She has worked as a professional trainer specializing in hunters and equitation for the last 3 years, and worked for 6 months this year with dressage trainer Allison DeChant to increase her skills.

Emily works with riders and horses of all levels and ages, and enjoys helping each student and horse achieve their potential. Savoy Stables is proud to have Emily on our staff, helping our students and horses.

Meg Shulman

Trainer

Mary Dunahay and Savoy Stables would like to welcome Meg Schulman to our team. We consider ourselves lucky and honored to have her with us.

Meg Schulman has been an equitation and hunter judge for over thirty years, judging throughout the United States and Canada. She judges an average of twenty shows a year and has judged medal finals such as the West Coast Regional USEF medal finals CPHA, PCHA, and LAHSA finals, as well as conducting many judges' clinics. She has served as a consultant in Mexico and New Zealand to help introduce hunters in those countries through her clinics.

Riding and showing hunters and jumpers since she was twelve years old, Meg competed on the East Coast before moving to the Southwest where she competed and coached. Meg has recently moved to the Denver area, where she has now joined the staff at Savoy Stables. Meg also has a B.S. in Psychology and a MBA from Arizona State University.
